The first step to making room is looking at our lives and reflecting on what we can cut back.
This Advent we are talking about making room in our lives for Christ to enter.
…to enter through encounters, conversations… and they aren’t easy?
So we need to make room for those encounters to happen…
They can’t happen if we are “too busy.”

Do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your minds,
so that you may discern what is the will of God—
what is good and acceptable and perfect.Romans 12:2
Prayer
Gracious and understanding Lord,
You have given me free will because you love me.
Free will to make choices and make room in my life.
Even though I have so much going on in my life right now,
Help me to slow down, and cut back on the some of the ‘me’ things
so that I can make more room for others
and You in my heart and in my life. Amen.
